What are the legal basis for our processing?

Performance of the services
Agreement. Depending on the nature of the matter and whether you are an existing customer or not, the processing may be necessary for the performance of a contract with you or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract.

How do we store personal data? Bluesnap securely store your data at data centers in Sweden and Germany.
Bluesnap will keep your personal data for during the time you are a customer with us and thereafter for 5 years. Personal data that we are required to process in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act will be stored for 7 years. Personal data that we process to protect us from legal claims or to enforce our legal rights will be processed for a period subject to the statute of limitations, which typically is 10 years from the time the claim arose. As these time periods expire, we will delete your personal data.
Do we process your personal data outside the EU/EEA? Bluesnap always seek to process your personal data within the EU/EEA. Under certain circumstances, such as when your personal data is shared with a consultant located outside the EU/EEA, your personal data may be transferred and processed in a location outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure that an adequate level of protection is maintained and that appropriate safeguards are adopted in accordance with the GDPR, such as entering into the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, which are available at the European Commission’s website.
